Talking to reporters, as per the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), one of the workers Chaudhary Mushtaq said tha they would organize massive gatherings for district president Javaid Qureshi but now they have been expelled from the party. They raised slogans in favor of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah, saying that they have dedicated their entire lives for the good of party. Another worker said that the BJP’s Kupwara unit has taken a wrong decision by expelling them. Gulzar Ahmad, another worker said that they have taken up the matter with the party's high command saying that they are against the decision taken by the BJP district president. He said that a one-sided decision has been taken without considering the sacrifices and dedication of workers of the party over the years. The members alleged that the party's district body was set up recently but senior workers have been sidelines.
